Programming Discussion Group

ReStaged consults with a Programming Discussion Group to ensure local expertise is represented in decision making and to embed our programme alongside sector development needs and issues.

The PDG members are:

Marie McCluskey MBE (Chair)

Former Artistic Director of Swindon Dance, Marie was previously co-producer of Dance Village for Swindon Dance. She now lends her expertise to chair the Programming Group…and much more besides!

Laila Diallo

Based in Bristol, Laïla has, since 2005, been creating dance works which toured across the UK and internationally, most recently Hold Everything Dear, a piece for nine dancers and musicians. A recipient of a Rayne Fellowship for Choreographers in 2006, she was also an Associate Artist at ROH2, Royal Opera House, between 2009 and 2012. Laïla regularly works as movement director in opera, theatre and television. Current projects include Edge and Shore, a collaboration with visual artist Helen Carnac commissioned by Siobhan Davies Dance. She was recently commissioned to create a new work for Skanes Dance Theatre, Malmö, Sweden, in 2017.

Lerato Dunn

Arts Development Officer at Bristol City Council. Lerato has previously worked with East London Dance and currently freelances as a creative workshop leader with older people. Within the council Lerato has oversight of the city’s dance portfolio, whilst outside the council she is also a member of The Original Spinners company and workshop programer with Shambala Festival.

Lina B Frank

Freelance Producer and founder of Ausform. Lina leads an independent ideas-lead award winning producing company based in Bristol, promoting and presenting new circus and unusual theatre. Ausform are interested in performance that crosses art forms from theatre and visual art to circus and installation.
